When registering with Extra Personnel you will be asked to complete a short skills test (if applicable) at the branch. The skills testing package is called Extra Skills and will test you on a number of different packages. Following a step by step on-screen demonstration you will need to complete a number of tasks. At the end of the skills test a computer print out will tell us the accuracy and speed of your typing and your competence on the package level selected. This information is then added to your CV and provided to companies that you may be selected for interview.
If you have not performed as well as you would have liked or would like to improve your skills, Extra Personnel have prepared a CD Rom for additional training. The Extra Learning™ CD Rom is available from all branches and are provided free of charge*. The Extra Learning™ CD Rom offers step-by-step training on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access at basic, intermediate and advanced levels.
